Retired only on paper, Colonel Samuel 'Big Bear' Shepherd, a West Point graduate, spent his entire career in the Special Operations Command. He used his contacts to establish Shepherd Security, an agency created out of the necessity for an independent, highly trained, and specialized group that could operate outside of the system. Shepherd was not afraid to get his hands dirty, leading his men on tough missions until he was shot in the abdomen five years ago, leaving him wheelchair-bound. Book 9 of the Shepherd Security Series follows a realistic storyline with adult language and content on the path to a happy ending.
